The Estrella Rotary Club is hosting their 38th Annual Fundraiser called, “BOONDOCKER”.

The event will be on Saturday, November 15th 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at Rancho La Loma (Litchfield Road & Camelback).

Guests will be treated to lots of fun, BBQ, a No Host Bar, Dancing, Hay Rides, Raffles and more…

Tickets are $35 each or a special table of 10 for $500.  The fundraiser is to help raise scholarship money for local West Valley high schools.

The link on the City of Litchfield Park website for “Rescheduled Fireworks” seems to be down but a July 7th West Valley View article says Litchfield Park has rescheduled their Fireworks Show for  (August 29, 2008). More details will be posted on www.aboutlitchfieldpark.com.

Goodyear’s Fireworks Show has also been rescheduled for 8:30 p.m on Labor Day September 1st,  at Goodyear Community Park, 3151 N. Litchfield Road. The fireworks show will be presented during Goodyear’s annual Howling Halloween Bash. Gates open for the event at 5 p.m with free admission.
