Q. Where’s a good place to live in Litchfield Park?

A. First of all, I need to explain the geography of Litchfield Park. If you live north of Camelback Road, east of Dysart, south of Indian School Road or west of Litchfield Road (excluding the Litchfield Park Greens, the Village at Litchfield Park and La Loma Village), you do not live in the LP city limits. New developments such as Bel Fleur, Dreaming Summit, Wigwam Creek and Veranda are also not in the LP city limits.

Explanation: Unincorporated county areas and islands must be assigned to a city zip code to receive mail delivery. Although you do not live in the Litchfield Park city limits you have been assigned the 85340 zip code to ensure mail delivery.

There are so many wonderful places to live inside the Litchfield Park city limits. Some are the condos & patio homes off Old-Litchfield Road and Indian School Road that are in walking distance to several parks, the pond, the Library and the Recreation Center. There are also many beautiful homes on and around the Wigwam Golf Course.  And, from Litchfield Road East to Dysart, and Indian School North to Camel Back there are many affordable family homes in quiet, more private, community settings.

Q. What is historic Litchfield Park?

A. Historic Litchfield Park also known as “Old Litchfield Park” is where the

City was first founded.  The boundaries are Camelback South to Indian School

Road, Dysart West to Litchfield Road.

Q.  Where are the Litchfield Park homes for sale by owner?

A. There are some homes listed for sale by owner in the city but most homes are listed by a Realtor for easier, convenient service. But, you are always welcome to drive around the neighborhood and if you see something you like, I can always help coach you through the purchase.

Q. What’s going on with Rural Metro Fire?

A. Currently the City of Litchfield Park does not have its own fire station. Emergency Fire services are provided by Rural Metro.  In recent months, the City of Litchfield Park, City of Avondale & Estrella Mountain College have entered into an agreement to build a fire station which would provide emergency services to residents of Litchfield Park and the north side of Avondale.  Rural Metro will continue to provide emergency services until the new fire station opens in approximately 2010.

Q. Would you live in Litchfield Park Arizona?

A. My family and I currently live in the city limits of Litchfield Park Arizona. The city was voted the “8th best place to live in Arizona“, and in my opinion it is the best place to live!

I wouldn’t be saying this if I didn’t believe it myself but I love Litchfield Park Arizona.

As a Real Estate Agent for Liberty One, I spend a lot of time running around the West Valley showing properties and I am always amazed when I visit the historic homes in the Old Litchfield Park area. I like these homes so much that last July my husband and I purchased a home on Torreon Drive, on the East Side of the Wigwam Golf Course. It’s our little piece of paradise right in the middle of the West Valley.
